ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING CAMP (ELL)

The Pillsbury College Prep ELL program is the most specialized language program for school-age campers in all of Minnesota. Pillsbury offers elite ELL camps, not just in summer, but during periods throughout the calendar year to accommodate students from all over the world.
With five hours of academic learning each day, campers are provided with the tools to speak, write and comprehend in English upon the completion of their camp experience.
Through a three-part language curriculum, every camper will hone their skills daily, and utilize these skills during activities and assignments in the evenings.
In addition, this camp program includes daily SAT/ACT/TOEFL skills development, college counseling and American cultural studies each week. At the conclusion of each four-week camp, campers practice taking standard national assessments for future admission to American universities. The skills and resources provided to each camper will assist them long after their camp experience ends.

ELL students receive master-level instruction from experienced ELL educators, combined with college counseling that provides insights into the admissions process – this combination is not found at any other language camp.
Pillsbury College Prep ELL campers are tested, weekly – to track their progress and areas for improvement – and are given the opportunity to practice their English language skills 24 hours a day.
Reports are provided to parents/guardians, as well as a certificate of completion upon the conclusion of the camp experience.
American cultural experiences are key to practical learning for all Pillsbury College Prep campers, with educational off-site tours providing real-world language opportunities partnered with great memories.
Clubs and activities are plentiful for ELL campers to choose from, with over 30 highly-engaging afternoon sessions that range from sports, to the arts, and nature-based learning.
